I don’t normally read these types of books and I’m still not sure how I added this one to my NetGalley list, but I read it anyways. It was very informative about languages, customs, and general aspects of the Middle Eastern countries. The setup of the book was straight forward and provided and generally easy read. There were great encounters and a nice amount of humor to keep everything moving along. I am sure that those into travel books or are looking for cultural insights would find a great book here, it was just not my cup of tea so I shall remain neutral.
