This was a great introduction to the various "Festivals of Light" that are celebrated around the world. I was only familiar with Diwali so it was great to learn something new.

An awesome book about Diwali. The colourful illustrations were very eye-catching and engaging. I'd recommend this book to parents and librarians for kids. This is a great book to teach children on different nationalities cultures and traditions. It's inclusive in its teachings and explains it in a straightforward and fun way that children will be able to understand easily. Having a glossary at the beginning is good, but maybe the word on the bottom on the page would also help children who don’t have the coordination to keep flipping from the start of the book to the desired page.

This was a very good book for teaching children about other cultures and beliefs! I think it's a great way to introduce them to other celebrations, and it was a nice ending to have them let the child with no celebrations around that time, be a part of theirs.
