The Girl in the Window follows Laura, who's visiting Cornwall after her fiancé Vinnie cheats on her. There, she finds a picture of a woman who looks exactly like her. The photographer is Marcus Adams, an elusive artist who only shoots in black and white. Who is she?
This book should contain a huge trigger warning for domestic violence so that people can make an informed choice before reading it.
Otherwise, this is a really good book, perfect for those who love slow burners, psychological thrillers, and so on.
I enjoyed the mystery around Laura and Alana's physical closeness, and the ending was satisfying and tied up all loose ends.
