Loved this installment of Layne's series. I wish there were more of them!

This was so sweet! I enjoyed every second of Anthony and Maggie's story. I liked the writing, the details, and the build to them coming together. There is some animosity between the two in the beginning and I liked Anthony fighting to stay away from her but their pull was inevitable. I loved their flirting and chemistry. There is some drama mixed in giving it a bit of a romantic suspense vibe but it's not super in depth, just a nice amount of added conflict to keep people on their toes.

I liked Maggie so much. Strong and determined to make a better life for herself. I loved that perseverance and strength in her. Anthony was a bit more hit and miss for me. I liked him and understood his choices but even though I got why he made them, I didn't always like them. I pretty much wanted to smack him on several occasions and was thrilled when he finally got it together. He was just so stubborn and very jerk-ish sometimes. I liked him but oh man, that attitude! His struggle really is what helped to make this an awesome read though because I was waiting for that moment when everything would click for him.

I like the Moretti family a lot, there was such a fun dynamic there. I liked the siblings teasing each other and the male bonding between the brothers. Anthony's grandmother was a hoot. It was a really good cast of characters.

I felt this was a pretty easy read, totally enjoyable with a nice amount of detail pulling you in. I felt invested the whole time. I loved the storyline and thought it had a good flow overall. The ending was endearing though I did think the major conflict was over rather easily. All the loose ends were tied up nicely.

This was great read with a good mix of drama and heat and a whole lot of sweetness. Awesome story!

I am a bit torn with my thoughts about Steal Me. On one hand, it is Lauren Layne, one of my new favorite authors that I will pretty much devour on sight. On the other hand, Steal Me just didn't have the same fierceness that I have come to love with her books. I adored the first book in the New York Finest series and I was so excited for Maggie and Anthony's story. I loved Mags and Anth. Both are strong characters that have been burned in previous relationships. It is those previous relationships that mold their frustrations and fears that come along with their new budding romance. While I can appreciate the idea that their relationship is more subdue because that is who they are as characters, I still wanted a bit more sexual tension. In the end, I loved Steal Me. It had Lauren's fabulous writing and characters, especially Nonna. I want more of her. I love stories with large families that are quick to welcome new people. The Moretti's quickly enveloped Maggie into their family and treated her as their own. I loved that we see more interaction between Vincent and Jill leading into their book. I'm hoping that we get to meet the 4th Moretti brother in the next book. Can't wait!
