Mystery at Blackbeard’s Cove is a fun adventure. The author did a lot of research for this book and brought history to life. There are some slow parts of the book but they don’t detract from the story the author is telling. Children will be drawn to this book because, really, who doesn’t love a good pirate tale?!

The story is written well, full of details easily visualized. The setting is perfect for a pirate mystery, and I thought I was there. The characters are delightful and their adventure exciting and fun. I was engaged from the very beginning and loved everything about this mystery.

I am unable to get to this title and won't be able to leave a review in a timely manner due to health issues.
