Interesting reversal of human fortunes…

Human beings as pets. I found this role reversal very intriguing as aliens invade earth and soon exert their mastery not over the land but the people. Especially the women… Warriors were tasked, among other things, to find a ‘pet’ of their very own. One to serve them in all ways. They were battle-hardened and knew how to use every weapon at their disposal to meet their goals…

I love sci-fi/futuristic romance and found these to be solid reads in the genre. While I had some difficulty with the master/pet concept that had more to do with the drug-inducing behaviour of the women then the writing. It added to the drama for sure but I would have loved to see more back and forth between the characters instead.
A deeper connection as they battled their very different instincts…

I will be looking for reads by this author again.
