This was only an excerpt but was enough to get me excited about this new series by Veronica Rossi. I loved her previous series, Under the Never Sky.

This new series sounds unique and engaging.

I have the full book now but if I know anything about Rossi's writing, I will have loved these chapter samplers.

I found the preview for Riders to be just okay. It didn't seem like a lot happened. I think that's because of the world building that needed to take place, which I completely understand. There is a chance that I will pick up the full version of this book at some point and read it, but it's not high on my priority list at the moment.

Unfortunately, this is not my type of book. I didn't connect with the characters at all and found the writing a a bit wordy and repetitive.

Hard to review previews, but I did read this and enjoyed it and also now own a copy

Veronica Rossi weaves an interesting tale, turning something old into something fresh, relevant, and exciting. It held my attention all the way to the surprising conclusion.

I really enjoyed this! It was different than anything I've read before and even though I tend to like more romance, I didn't mind in this book. I can't wait until I can get the book so I can find out what happens next!
