A story about a virus spreading from birds to animals to humans? This probably sounded a little far fetched when the author first wrote it in 2017 but it has a real connection to the events of our current world reality in 2021. A definite must read.

Oh how I loved this book! As a dog lover, I completely related to the characters in the book that would do anything to protect and keep mans best friend safe. It was a fast paced book that as much as I didn't want it to end, I was racing to the end. I also love the epilogue at the end that gave you a peek into everyone's future

I'm a dog lover and a NYC resident and this book was excellent! I loved how the story changed perspectives and really appreciated the character development along the way. This was a fun read that took me on an emotional roller coaster.

As a pet parent, I enjoy reading books about animals, mostly cats, but dogs, too. This was an intense read for me, and I had to stop reading it as I worried and fretted about strays, shelter animals, both in the story and real life. It wasn't easy, but did finish the story and it was a great one! I cried when I read Dewey the Library cat story, too (I hate animals dying...they should live as long as people...). Animal lovers should read this book. It's very good.

Apocalyptic, deep, dark, and animals? Yes please. This one had all my top favorite things thrown into one book that compelled you to want to devour it and then cuddle it afterwards. I was wanting more and more and couldn't keep up set some points from over excitement.
