Tessa Bailey doesn’t just light up the pages with heated attraction between this no longer can control/deny himself young rockstar and the older woman who has always fueled his fantasies. She sets them on fire, folks, with lots and lots of naughty talking, very explicit, might make you blush, smex scenes. I really can’t stress that enough, because the steam factor often took over. Though Jasmine at first came across like a deer in the headlights by Sarge’s unexpected sexy moves on her, it didn’t take long for her to start singing the same song as him. Yeah, she got with the program pretty quickly but relationship uncertainty reared its ugly head leading to knuckleheaded thinking and angst which had to be overcome.

If you enjoy a V-E-R-Y steamy read, chances are this book may be right up your alley. I kind of wish it had been reigned in some and more time spent on character development. At least what the heart wants won out over the head worrying what others might think.

I liked this book but at the same time it felt like there was just something missing. I think perhaps I wanted Sarge to be a little more of a developed character. His obsession with Jas is just such a big part of this character that it makes him seem kind of flat.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

These Made in Jersey books are so freaking hot. When Sarge comes back to Jersey when his band is on hiatus, he's brought face-to-face with his older sister's best friend - the girl that he's been in love with his whole life. It was really great watching these two deal with their attraction. Sarge has wanted her his whole life, but it's new for Jasmine to see him as anything other than a little kid.

I'm completely invested in this series that entangled has going on. There's so much heat...like blisteringly hot, but there's also enough emotion that I'm invested.

Unfortunately, this was a DNF for me. I guess I’m not pulled into older-woman-younger-man stories. They’re 7 years apart at 22 and 29. He’s her best friend’s brother and grew up together. Even after reconnecting she still thought of him as a kid brother and ruffled his hair. He immediately came on very strong and confident with aggressive seduction and dirty talk. It felt off to me. There were also pages of inner monologues that had me skimming.

I love a good second chance romance story and even better I love a rock band romance story.

But I didn't love this story, even as much as I wanted to.

I just didn't feel the connection between the characters beyond their physical attraction to one another. They weren't really close years ago, yet they didn't take the time to get to know each other. Not only is there the age difference between the two, but years had passed since they saw each other last.

They connected incredibly on a physical level, but at times I found myself wondering if I was just reading porn. I needed more of a story line, more of a connection between the two characters.

This is a very angsty and sexy romance that I found to be quite intriguing. Jasmine and Sarge are an interesting and complex couple. Their history, the things that are between them ... it's all pretty angsty and challenging. There is a grittiness to this romance that was interesting. This is a VERY hot romance - the door is WIDE open on this one. If that's not for you, you may want to skip it. But, overall, the story was solid. I will continue with the series because I must know what happened with the couple being explored in the second book of the series!

I will need the rest of the stories from the town of Hook for sure!

Jasmine was a little hung up on the age thing, but I LOVED Sarge. Fun story. Good read.

I love the twist in this that it is a best girlfriend’s younger brother. Jasmine being seven years older never really saw the boy she babysat as being anything other than her best friend’s little brother but oh, how things have changed. Jasmine never made it out of her hometown after being rejected in the music business so now she works alongside her friend in a factory. Sarge did make it out in a big way he pursued his dream of music and succeeded in a big way. He was lead singer/guitarist in a rock band who happened to be on break before their next big step up in the rock world. Sarge headed home to see his three year old niece he never saw and to finally go after Jasmine and show her that he wasn’t that little brother anymore.

I liked the chemistry between Sarge and Jasmine and Sarge finally bringing it to Jasmine’s attention that many of the songs that were hits were about her. She was the women of his dreams and always had been. Now was his chance to show her that he had “grown” in so many ways.

Crashed Out is one steamy read. Tessa Bailey brings you to the edge multiple times with Sarge and Jasmine's chemistry. I love the little bit of a forbidden romance as Sarge goes all out to prove to his former babysitter that he is a man now. Jasmine is sweet and trying to survive the best she can in life. Sarge the rocker on a break to figure out his next move. I love how he comes home to try and reconnect with his family. Sarge doesn't back down when it comes to Jasmine and he knows what he wants. I love how Jasmine seems to blossom once Sarge shows her it is okay to give in. This is one steamy read that will having you fanning yourself over and over again. I couldn't put this one down.

Sarge Purcell is finally home after four years on the road with his band, he feels guilty for missing out on his niece growing up and abandoning his sister but the thing that totally floors him is coming face to face with his teenage crush, Jasmine, the woman he always admired from afar. She has always been his inspiration and he is finally in a position to try to convince her to give him a chance. I really liked this story, in fact I am going to go through Tessa’s back category as its not often you find someone who can convey this sort of passion and get beneath the surface of people. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s been forever since I’ve read a Tessa Bailey book. I have some more in my never ending tbr pile that I really need to get to. Let’s just say no surface was safe when Sarge and Jasmine were going at it. Those two were having fun all over the place, multiple times. I’m shocked that the poor girl can even walk. There is some story going on in between all the dirty fun and it was pretty good. I liked that Jasmine was 7 years older than Sarge, I didn’t find it creepy or anything. Overall it was a pretty decent read.

When you find the one you know...and for Sarfe that's always been his older sisters best friend Jasmine. The problem? Shes always viewed him as a kid. Now years after leaving their hometown and making a name for himself hes back and wanting more. A place in his family and getting a shot at Jas.

Shes always been independent but failed attempts at getting out of town have left her in a rut. Work, life, men it's all the same until Sarge comes back. What was suppose to be a simple fling while he was home turns into a little bit more when his feelings come to light and reality comes into play. Will they survive or fall apart?

These two are absolute perfection together. Sarge’s alpha male dominance matched up with Jasmine’s snark and sassiness is such a combustible combination. The emotions and feelings between these two created an undeniable tension that I couldn’t stop reading. Between Sarge’s filthy mouth, him praying to Jasmine’s lady bits and the insane chemistry, I couldn’t get enough!

Holy Hotness, this book is melt your socks, panties and will have you clenching your thighs. I love Tessa Bailey. What a fantastic story! We're introduced to Sarge who is River's brother and his sisters best friend, Jasmine. Sarge is younger than the two and has always crushed on Jasmine. Sarge has come home for the holidays while his band takes a much needed break and he can't stay with his sister, so River volunteers Jas. Jas has an extra room. This is perfect for Sarge, yet a challenge while the relationship between he and Jas changes. Each think the other is too young and too old. Jasmine had her dreams too, her voice, wanting out of Hook once and for all only to be rejected. Sarge made it out.
Jas and River work at the local factory on the assembly line and it's a fate most of this small town accepts.
It seems no one ever escapes living in Hook. Jas has a boatload of reasons why she and Sarge wouldn't work, Sarge negates all of them. Her main concern seemingly is their age difference. Her resignation being consigned to living in that town and working that job had all the feels. Sarge made me knees weak, the guy has it all in spades.
Sarge also has to decide if he wants to pursue another record contract, which puts him back in the studio and on tour again. He's not sure he wants to do that. He's the song writer in the band and all his songs are about Jas. She doesn't know it, but she does find out in the best of ways. The chemistry between these two in flammable and amazing. So well written, as always by Ms Bailey. Great story, solid plot, characters are over the top and it's an absolute must read. Christmas has come to Hook and something has to give between Jas and Sarge. I absolutely loved this book. No idea how I missed this one, but I'm so glad it landed on my list!

Crashed out

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

This was a super steamy read with hot babysitter fetish written all over it. Sarge is a singer in a hot band taking a Christmas break. While he is back home for the holidays he see's an old high school crush. Jasmine was his older sisters bestie and hot fodder for Sarge's spank bank. Fun read.

What did I like? The chemistry in this one is super hot. Seven year age difference is huge between a failed singer and a rock god. He has been crushing on her for years. Now they are thrown together and the sex is off the charts.

Would I buy this book...? I would kindle copy it for sure. It was a fun and sexy read which I would suggest to anyone looking for a hot rock god book. It definitely put me in a loving mood.

Thoughts for the author? I've read for this author before and this has to be a favorite so far. Glad that Jas and Sarge got their HEA. Four sexy stars of romance!

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

This book sizzles, and the steam and sweat will warm you up on a cold frosty night!

Two good characters and a different kind of story. I wasn’t 100% convinced on the story and there’s almost no conversation amongst any of the characters.

But if you ant a very high heat factor this is sex, sex, sex.

I love Tessa Bailey’s books

Jasmine works in a factory, in a small town. Her big dream was to sing and leave the town behind. But her dreams never came true so she’s still living there. Sarge is a big rock star who Jasmine used to babysit. She’s seven years older but that doesn’t matter to Sarge.
Sarge comes back to town after four years away. He stops to see his sister bit she’s having problems of her own and sends Sarge to Jasmine, her best friend. Sarge has been in love with Jasmine since he first met her. She encouraged him to leave and make something of himself. Now he’ll do anything to keep her if he can get her over her insecurities.
You can never go wrong with Ms. Bailey’s books. If your looking for hot, sweaty sex, then you’ll definitely enjoy this. Crush turn to lovers. Older woman and a younger man.

Sarge is way more mature than what I imagine a 22 year old rock and roll band member would be. Jasmine seems surprised by this over and over again. But wow, his words can make you melt.

Older woman/younger man trope is not really my thing. She was his babysitter. It made me cringe. Lots f dirty talk and deed, not enough storyline for me...
