If you are looking for some steamy stories with enjoyable characters than look no further than Lila DiPasquas books! Ms. DiPasqua is very good at weaving a story together to engage her readers with some pretty steamy scenes. I have enjoyed the retelling of favorite fairy tales, in a different format mind you.

In a Midnight Dance we find our heroine Sabine Laurent in a sticky situation. She is trying to help her family gather funds so that they can pay their taxes or they will be thrown into the debtors jail. She devices a plan to steal chests of silver from a camp of men by pretending to be a prostitute. In her plan she hopes to get the men to drink tainted wine that will help in carrying out her plan.

Our hero, Jules de Moutier, is looking to restore his family honor and take revenge on those responsible for stealing his birthright. He has had to resort to privateering when he was once a respected officer. He is also the leader of this group of men that Sabine is trying to rob.
Very quickly Sabine finds herself in a situation that she is not able to back up from. But our hero is both aggressive and gentle with her. The spark between these two is explosive.

It is definitely a good steamy read!
