I did not finish this book. While I appreciate the offer to have the novel., I have stopped reading any romance novels that stray more into erotica.

Not what I expected. The plot sounded interesting and this book could've been great, except for some major character flaws. I felt there was no real sentimental value to the characters' or their dialogue. And during the entire book, I felt that Vivian had a childish mentality, which is not a great look for the main character. It brought the story down a notch. Also, there was no real fight in the girls. They all just accepted what was dealt to them and gave no 'to hell with this' reactions. Not even once. Now, on the positive side, the story definitely has a great plot to work with. The mystery was there, the darkness of the situation brought the 'wow' factor and there were twists in the story that I didn't see coming.
Overall, great storyline, but something was missing.

This is the first book in The Seven Chamber Series by D.W. Marshall. I will tell you that this book is unlike anything I have ever read. It is very well written and the story flows so well that you will be half way through the book before you even know it. Very well done.

Vivian is about to turn twenty-one and her friends keep telling her they have a surprise for her so when she hears people in her house the night before her birthday, she assumes that it is her friends and that this is part of the surprise. Vivian is planning on seducing her longtime crush, Liam as well this night. When a bag is put over her head, she just goes along with it, but soon realizes that these people are not her friends. Now she is worried. She is being kidnapped.

Vivian is taken to a place called The Chambers where no one uses their real names. Everything is explained to Vivian and she knows that she has no choice but to cooperate because they said they would hurt her family and friends if she did not.

Vivian is going to be used as a toy for men pretty much for 12 months. If she cooperates, she will be let go and taken care of financially after that but can't mention anything to anyone about where she has been. What about Liam? They were supposed to run away together.

Each girl in The Chamber is assigned a guard and Vivian's guard is Dominique, or Tyson as he is called at The Chamber. As time goes on, Vivian begins to have a crush on Tyson. She feels guilty though because what about Liam? This is a steamy read that will keep you turning the pages. Who will Vivian choose in the end? I can't wait for more in The Seven Chamber Series!
