I loved Bram! Seriously. This has got to be my favorite of the series! Oh my. Love love. So much fun! I can't get over how funny the whole novel was. I could not stop reading and my side hurt from trying to contain my laughter.

Okay so Lucinda is an actress and we've seen her in the other books in the series. She's always a bit unconventional to be sure but very fun and very smart in her own right.

We find her running away from an over amorous fan in this book. He's been after her for quite some time and in a roundabout way, we find him connected to her through one of her friends as well! Love it!

Anyway, she's hidden away by her old dear friend in that dear friend's grandson's castle. Most people won't go there because he's rumored to be a bit umm eccentric? And very weird things happen on his estate.

Lucinda is going to find out just what all is happening and why! She will solve this and she will play multiple roles while she's sequestered away.

But can she actually be safe? Or will her fan find her and secret her away again? What about love? Can she find love with Bram or will she continue to vow never to love a man?

Loved this book so much. I might actually have read it more than once already and will continue to revisit it when I need a good laugh. I mean how many people have torture chambers in their basement or fire cannons off anymore?

I love reading a Jen Turano book because it always has me laughing and wondering what will happen next! I have loved this series and can not wait until her next book comes out! Lucetta Plum is a well known actress, but a threatening fan causes her to run! and her friend Abigail has just the right place for her to go. Right to the home, or castle as we should say, of Abigail’s grandson, Bram Haverstein. Brian is a really wonderful but suspicious young man. Everyone feels that he is living off his dad’s money. Bram’s staff didn’t easily accept his grandmother and her friend, you will sure to be laughing and crying as well at the series of events that happens.

This book is so loveable and enjoyable. It is well written, the characters are the best and very well developed. When I finished this book, I felt like I knew Bram, Lucetta and the cast of characters for real. I love books like this because these are the ones that I keep to read a second and third time. Playing the Part is a sure keeper for me. And the title is so fitting, because Actress Lucetta Plum played her part so very well. There are surprises and many mysterious things going on at this house. But you need to read the book to find out. You will find youself for hours of entertainment and enjoyment reading Playing the Part.
