This is one I didn't finish reading. While, the book has excellent reviews and seems to have been enjoyed by many, I found it to be slow moving, and not my cup of tea.

Louisiana Saves the Library
When Louisiana (yes she’s named after the state) faces layoffs from her job as a professor of library science at Louisiana A&M her friend and former co-worker Sylvia suggest that they get jobs as Librarians at a public library in a small southern Louisiana town. But what both women don’t realize is that they may be in over their heads. The library of the small town is failing and the city council would love nothing more than to close it for good. After all no one reads anymore, if they do it’s on those e-readers, and there’s a bookstore two towns over.
Louisiana’s not just facing trouble from her boss and the town council she’s also facing trouble from her ex-husband. She thought that moving to Louisiana would give her a break from the drama she was wrong. Louisiana’s got her hands full with trying to save the library and trying to figure out how to deal with her ex.
Louisiana Saves the library is a book that will keep you laughing with Louisiana and Sylvia as well as the rest of the library staff and the host of characters that use the library. It’s the typical southern small town. You will laugh with the characters, cry with the characters, and when everything is said and done you will even celebrate with them. Louisiana Saves the library is a quick enjoyable read that is perfect to add to your summer reading list. It’s one of those light fluffy reads.
