There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.

Being up to date with all the poetry coming out recently, is hard. Specially when so much of it, for me, feels as if poetry is a word with a whole new and different meaning.
I can honestly say that Pearson with this piece, accomplishes what many of the new poetry writers don't: she makes poetry feel like poetry again.

I am working through and clearing out my list of galleys and unfortunately not interested in reading this any more.

Beautiful poetry with really good meaning and and varying amounts of depth that kept me glued to the book!
