This is Book 2 in the newest series by Mr Connolly. A constant
with these books is how well they are written, with such brilliant
text clarity and occasionally some very sophisticated humor.
I enjoy the time spent on Catalina Island, and appreciate the
accuracy of everything to do with the facilities and services.
As this story progresses, we have the fun of spending time
with Renee Ballard, a cameo with Harry Bosch and a minute
with Maddy Bosch, all of whom have become dear friends
of the loyal fans of the various books and screen.
Sgt Stilwell is an enduring character and I look forward to
the next book and the adventures on the Island.
