While I loved the first two in the series, I struggled with this one. It isn't anything Katie has done. Her books are always great, I just haven't really been into MCs in a couple of years. I've tried to read this on several occasions, even letting long periods of time pass in hope I'll have interest in the whole Club thing again, and find my self distracted from lack of interest in the trope.

I won't be placing a review on Goodreads or Amazon. I don't find it would be fair to the author when it is a me not you kind of DNF. Thank you for the opportunity.

My rating has no reflect on the book. Netgalley makes you choose one.

Bishop is the sergeant at arms for the Raiders MC and Samantha (Sam) is an undercover ATF agent. Sam experiences a traumatic event at a young age and since then it's been her goal to take down the bad guys. The perfect plan is set in place and we get right into the thick of things with Sam and her partners undercover roles. Bishop is her target. The storyline is solid with secrets as well as twists and turns and the character build up is steady and welcoming, introducing you to everyone (some familiar faces) with appropriate character history. My struggle, that I'm honestly over seeing in novels is the secret comes out, time passes, all is forgiven and then the story is wrapped in a bow. I like realism. Yes, I like to escape in a novel, but when it becomes predictable, my rating lowers. Sam is feisty and Bishop is a softy underneath his hard exterior. I enjoyed their story overall.
