This was possibly my favorite book in the series.

The book takes off running and doesn't stop until the very last page.

George and Dora are perfect leads - they are both nurturing souls and they both have sacrificed their own happiness in the past for others. Neither is bitter about their choices and I think they would both willingly make the same choices if they had the chance.

George has decided that he is lonely and wants to marry. The only woman he envisions in the role is Dora, whom he met last year while at the survivors reunion.

The story that follows is a sweet love story of two mature (he is 48 and she is 39) wounded souls finding love, forgiveness, healing and joy. There are no big misunderstandings, there are no love triangles, there is an evil villain and some surprises. As well as cameos with the other survivors. We also finally get the whole story of George's tragic past, the loss of his son and his wife.

This story just perfectly tied up this series. It is well written it flows perfectly, and it has such a sweet tender love that you can't help but tear up. And all that wasn't enough there is an epilogue with all the other survivors and their families which is absolutely delightful.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been following the series. It could be read as a stand alone, but I don't recommend starting with this book.
