I think my inability to enjoy this story had more to do with the fact that is book 3.5 in a series that I have absolutely no familiarity with than the book itself.

A simple story with a nice feeling. nA novels are my favorite genre thus my ratings are more calculated and stays around 3 stars which is a good rating in my books.

The Hazards of Mistletoe is the perfect book for contemporary romance fans to help them get into the holiday spirit. I have read a few of Alyssa's other books, so I knew I wanted to read the books in her Hazards series. This book was a quick read that was sweet and a perfect holiday addition. While I liked this book, I didn't love it. I found the dialogue to be confusing at times. Sometimes it seemed as though I had missed something and I would have to go back to check. I also found a few grammatical mistakes in this book. I like that the books in this series can be read as a stand-alone. I have yet to read the other books in the series and I didn’t feel lost once. I'm glad this was the first book I read out of this series. I look forward to checking out some of the other books in this series!
