Not sure what I made of this book, it seemed a bit 'lost'

A true tale of a kidnapping of two free black sisters in 1851, Elizabeth Parker was sold and her sister Rachel Parker was found by her employer and other Chester County farmers and brought back home.

Both sisters were assumed to be other people and were sent to jail until their true identity was discovered., while it is an interesting read, I personally thought it could have been better

Everyone should read this book. Using diaries and newspaper accounts of what happened to two free African American sisters that were kidnapped and taken into slavery. The historical ramifications of the trials and what happened to these girls is intense reading. Good book. Well done and well worth the read. History of slavery is an interesting and profound subject for reading. Would recommend!
