An okay read, not as good as the previous ones. The illustrations were very clear and crisp but the overall plot needed more thinking.

As a fan of Batman, this was a great story. Fantastic artwork, and I can't wait to see more!

Basics? It was good. Odd choice in Gordon, but it works ok for me. Bloom is creepy and reminds me of Joker mixed with Ivy mixed with Scarecrow. Kind of confused about why Bruce can't remember, but as this is basically part one of the new origin of sorts, I'm sure we will find out in Volume 9.
