Wow, it was completely action-packed and racily fast-paced! I enjoyed reading it very, very much :)
Must read if you love Suicide Squad!

A decent trade that’s worth picking up for any fan of DC Comics.

Sean Ryan's New Suicide Squad Vol. 2: Monsters spins a Suicide Squad story in the classic style, with a team of villains dropped into a scenario where everyone around them is worse. Ryan writes these characters well, especially breakout star Black Manta; Monsters is interesting, and with unexpected heart. Full of backstabbing, betrayal, and surprises, Monsters is the beginning of a new upswing for the Suicide Squad title.

An exciting series
that throws DC villains
into the unwanted role of
being forced to do the
"right thing"
as decided by the Black Ops Dept.
of US Intelligence that holds
the trigger to the bombs in
their heads.
Even while doing good they are still
monsters leaving a path of carnage in
their wake.
A long running series from DC
that has seen new life in the last few years
leading surprisingly to a movie
(which I liked)
The Suicide Squad takes the Anti-Hero
to it's edge.
Because they are not hero's
but maybe they can do some good.

Not as disjointed as the first volume, but it also didn't really carry through with that promising end scene in the first volume either. Just not a fan and I won't be continuing with this series. It doesn't seem to know where it's going and I don't find that to be something I look for in a comic book.
