Although I did enjoy the plot and the story in general, I wasn't a huge fan of the characters and I didn't like the writing style so this was a DNF for me.

I’ve just found this book on my kindle and realised I never gave feedback on it. Re-read enough to remind me that I enjoyed it but not as much as the Lee Child books I used to devour as soon as they were released. I wouldn’t chose either now but that doesn’t mean millions won’t love them.

I came across this book in me to be read pile and I am sorry it has taken so long to get to it. This was a very good book. Once I began to read the book, I did not want to put it down. It opens with Clyde Barr getting a call from his sister asking for help. That is all it takes to put one-man army into action that takes him across Colorado and other parts West. He is on a search and destroy mission and he is not making any friends along the even his older sisters really don’t want him around them. Clyde is surprised to find that not only has towns and other things has changed since he has been in prison, but also some friends are now are on the right side of the law. He still will do anything to find his sister but he is definitely leaving a trail behind of where he has been and not bread crumbs. With the help of a female from the bar that Jen worked at they make a good team for most of the story. A fast-paced story that takes you to the woods with true to life survival. I found this to be a good story that like I said at the beginning I was sorry I took so long to get to. A very good read.
