These stories are so much fun. I am trying to get my hands on the whole series.

Betting on the wrong brother is a case of teenage longing, mistaken identity, and two foolish people rushing in.
Horror writer and a romance writer meet in an elevator...sounds like a joke, but these two are anything but.
Steamy chemistry and ghost round out this adventure.
It's worth the read.

This is a quick read with a fun storyline. It was predictable but still enjoyable with plenty of spice throughout. My only hangups were about the MC, Andi. She was really unfair to Ryan throughout the book and put him in a lot of uncomfortable situations. She also needs to chill on repeating how "unlovable" she was.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for the ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed this title.

Andi Palmer is a romance writer and went in Las Vegas for a Romance writers convention where she will meet ryan horror author in secret there are a lot of fun tropes like stuck in an elevator and more.
This book is fun and sexy and even though it was a quick read. the characters were lighthearted and amusing.
the plot was kinda predictable to the point were i'll be waiting for the particular moment to happen .
though it didn't hold my attention throughout, still a fun beach read .

This was a fun and exciting read. It was an easy story to love from the very start to the end. I loved how memorable the opening is. This book has great characters and the development with them is spot on I also enjoyed that there was not a ton of angst and drama which was a change of pace for me.

Even though you may think that this is just another what happens in Las Vegas stays in Vegas kind of story but it's not, Cathryn Fox gives us a super likeable and delightful read.

Jack Wheeler " Ryan" is handsome as well as he is sweet and he makes such a beautiful effort to treat a his lady right which he does too Andi even though she has made the mistake of thinking that he is his brother.

Andi has a kick butt attitude and well who can blame her for wanting revenge on the man who broke her heart.... I no I would, well things don't go to plan but fate has other plans for them both.

This book is such a fun light hearted and sexy read it held my attention throughout, and has made me want to read more of this authors work you can see such an effortless beautiful style to her writing which I adored.

In Betting on the Wrong Brother we meet Andi and Ryan.

Andi was hurt by Nolan in grade school and never got over that humiliation her put her through, laughing at her as she tried to come on to him. He was just being nice to her, and she mistook that for something more.

We now jump forward to years later, when Andi runs into him unexpectedly in Vegas. Both are in Vegas for work and run into each other in the most unforgettable way in an elevator. Andi just knows it’s him but he seems to not recognize or remember her. He is intrigued by the cute mess that is on the floor in the elevator and begins to flirt with her. She gets it in her head she is out for revenge. He seems interested, so she’ll get him to a point where he got her back years ago, and then up and leave. That will teach him, or so she thinks. Little does she know it’s not even Nolan she is conversing with? It’s his older brother using his pen name, Ryan.

Despite her plan to lead him on and then leave, in the moment she is pulled in by him again and doesn’t stick with her plan. From there the story takes a fun and interesting turn or two. We see the two together and flirting a lot. She is still determined to break his heart the way he broke hers, but it’s becoming harder and harder being close to him. As their time together draws to an end, will the secret he’s been hiding hurt them? Can she move past his deception? Was it even deception if she didn’t want to know details about him or his past? She kept this “game” neutral and didn’t want to bring up the past every time he tried to come clean. What will happen with these two? Read Betting on the Wrong Brother for the answers and a fun, witty read!

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

What a cute read! I really got invested in Ryan and Andi, although I would have appreciated more about their lives before Vegas. We know they're both writers, but I wish I knew more about their histories and their families. We got a taste when Ryan reached out to his siblings, but nothing they talked about really shed light on who he was.

The love scenes were hot and they were adorably sweet as a couple, but I wish Fox had given us more background information.
