Another great one by one of my favorite authors of romantic suspense. She always get the balance right between the romance and suspense, and has plenty of action to keep it interesting. In this one, Sam Jakes goes home to try to help his brother solve their mother's murder. While there, he encounters his former girlfriend, Lainey. While tension heats up in the serial killer case, Sam will do anything he can to protect Lainey from being a victim.

I loved Sam and Lainey and the second chance romance between them. The suspense kept me intrigued, and I thoroughly enjoyed this 3rd installment in the series.
