I COMPLETELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!
One of those powerful quiet books about an unusual girl 'afflicted' with a condition that singles her out and forces her to live a life alone, but not necessarily lonely. Thanks in part to an understanding doctor who tries to help her live her life fully. Beautifully written and based on the great aunt of the author, I loved the gentleness and 'realness' of this story.

Excellent. Recommended. Should have won more awards than it did. If you have not read anything by Brad Wilson, this thougtful, engaging, meditative and brilliant character study is a good place to start.
