I found the format of this fairytale to be quite interesting. Instead of having just one story, this fairytale is actually divided into multiple stories, similar to book chapters.

Despite the title of this book, the story barely ever mentions the Snow Queen, which I found disappointing. I wanted to learn more about this character, but she was only mentioned in passage.

Not my favorite fairytale, but I can't deny that it's well written.

The book did not really work for me. I wasn’t able to connect with any of the many characters in the book and I found myself putting down the book a lot because it was never really catching my attention

I thought this was a cute book, it was short and something that i would read to my kids. Its a classic that kids and adults would really enjoy reading.
