I was pleasantly surprised by Naked Choke. I have never read anything by this author and thought she delivered a sweet romance sprinkled with a bit drama, suspense and ended with a HEA for Emory and Gray.

Gray was a perfect Alpha Male. He found Emory and knew she was the one. He was always there to protect her whether it was from his family and friends. There was instant attraction but this couple built their relationship outside the bedroom first then took it to a more physical level.

Emory is a smart woman although a bit naive when it comes to a relationship. I liked that she was an older women, late thirties, who is now on her own. She is settled in her carrier and now has time for herself. She deserved to be pampered.

While I liked the book and reading about their courtship, I thought it raced a bit towards the end. Devoting a little more time in the later chapters and this could have been a 5 star read for me.
