Note: clearing old books from before 2019

Did not have time to read this book - still on my TBR. Thank you for the opportunity and my apologies for not getting to it.

I am struggling to put into words what I felt about this book. The subject matter gave me the creeps throughout. I just felt icky reading about it. The ending...just didn't do it for me. I wanted a different ending, one that gave them more retribution (I know, you can argue that the ultimate retribution happened, but not really, I wanted vindication I guess). The book is very well written, and the author really gets the feeling and setting spot on.

Un-put-down-able! I loved this book a lot as it was really fast-paced, gorgeously dramatic and had a good cast of characters. The only issue I had was he unclimatic ending.

I adore this genre and really enjoyed this story! The gated community atmosphere added to the creepiness and I never figured out the mystery, which is unusual. A real page turner!
