short, quick read about a soldier who tries to fulfill a wish of a fallen soldier by taking care of his family. Kyle appears on Whitney's doorstep out of no where and despite her best efforts, he doesn't leave instead insisting on helping her with various tasks around the house that need to be completed before she can sale the home.

One thing that really bothered me about this story was that when Kyle told Whitney that he was a bear shifter she just accepted this. It wasn't clear that this was something that her society was used to or that she had any previous knowledge of bear shifters. I wanted questions, explanations, surprise, shock....something. It was kind of a let down in that sense.

This story seemed far more rushed than the others in the series and didn't provide much of an ending. Very disappointing.

I really enjoyed this box set of books each had there own plus points and a few minuses they were quick fun action-packed reads with lots of lovely romance.
