This story started off with a bang and the adrenaline rush that came with it did not cease. It is action packed and suspenseful.
Many thanks to Thomas & Mercer and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

A new client came to the office asking for help. He and Chris went to out get coffee and came back to find two of your employees shot to death and the third hasn’t returned from her errand. What a way to start the first day of your new business.

Chris and the client, Ian, run for their lives. Chris calls Zoey, the third employee, and tells her not to return to the office but run for her life.

All of this is because Ian discovered a secret group within the government that handles situations that are not on the books. With the super computer skills Chris, Zoey and Ian have, they manage to stay one step ahead of the group that wants them dead.

Zoey turns to a former friend for help. He is hiding in Ecuador because of his hacking skills and forces Zoey to help his and his group steal from a drug cartel. Now Zoey is running from them as well.

There are so many twists and turns in this story that you will have to stay on your toes as you read. It keeps you on the edge of your seat to see if the three of them will come out on the other side alive.
