The Midnighter was created by Warren Ellis for the books Stormwatch and The Authority from Wildstorm Publishers ( later absorbed into DC ).
Under the hands of Ellis The Midnighter became a NEXT level Batman archetype.
All of the characters Ellis wrote were astounding.
After the merge the Wildstorm characters were reimagined and very poorly.
So this book is filled with sad.

This comics collection was fantastic. I love Midnighter. He is such a complex character.

This is a collection of the recent ongoing Midnighter series. For those unfamiliar with the character there will be violence so it needs to be shelved in the adult or teen sections. However the violence fits the character. Also he is more than just a killing machine.

A decent trade that’s worth picking up for any fan of DC Comics.
