After reading a few chapters, I decided this book held no interest for me at this time nor was it a good fit for my blog.  I elected not to finish the book now, but it may well be a case of "the wrong book at the wrong time" syndrome and I might be willing to try it again in the future.  Thank you to PENGUIN GROUP Blue Rider Press and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to sample this title.

"Who the heck is Dave Hill?" I asked myself, and still do.  Yet, I am glad for the "Dave Barry" like cover which is what helped to draw me in to his adventures...Hills.   Apparently this author has written a previous book, and that is all and good, but I read this one....and I enjoyed it!  He shares some of the oddities in and around his life, and does so with humor.  Yes there were times where I laughed or guffawed out loud, and other times where I had a pleasant smile on my face, so on that realm this is a a winner.  Because it was not consistent, nor did it leave me wanting more, I took this one away from "you must read this!"  Still, if you need something to make you laugh at the slings and arrows that come our way, this might help.
