Truth and Consequences is the second book in the Rookie K-9 Unit series. It's been a while since I read the first book, so I don't remember it that well. I still enjoyed this book and was able to follow the story fairly easily.

I liked the way the book opened -- with a stabbing on a bus. It was intense and I didn't know why the villains escalated to that kind of violence.

The romance was nice. I liked how he came to that town to find her because he had promised her brother he would. It was sweet and the ending was good.

All in all, Truth and Consequences was enjoyable and I recommend it.
