Gracie & Kordon
Another lost and found ARC for me. I'm so happy I was able to locate this one. The story was enjoyable. While the book was jam packed with drama and emotions, it contained plenty of humor. While this is a Sci-Fi Romance, it's not heavy on the science part. It has humans, aliens, and takes place in space and on different planets/moons.
Gracie and Kordon were well matched as a couple. It didn't take me much to be drawn into their love story. The epilogue was funny and sweet!
Disclosure: I received a free copy via NetGalley.

I cried and cried yet couldn’t be happier…
I don’t know if it was just the mood I was in but the emotional punch of this story – well, it was a multi-kleenex read. I don’t like time travel stories (normally), they just aren’t my thing, but this story made me rethink that decision in a big way. Time travel, crying and I was still hooked? Yup, it was that kind of a read…
Right from the start, Gracie’s voice was clear and strong. She was a young woman facing an unbelievable and dangerous situation with incredible poise and determination. She was smart, incredibly so, and brave to the nth degree. And above all that, she had common sense and practicality that got her through one harrowing situation after another. I simply liked her and her low-drama approach to the high drama that was her life. She didn’t expect anyone else to save her so she forged ahead on her own. Saying that, she was soon going to have (another) world who ‘had’ her back…
She deserved Kordon, a man who matched her in all the ways that mattered, and all the good things that awaited her. She may not have needed him but what he brought to her life couldn’t be measured. And Kordon? Well, he was a hero no matter what planet he came from… And Gracie was all that needed or could ever want. How they fought for each other was all the heart and romance I could have wanted…
This wasn’t a war story or even a military one. Instead it was a human story told within a global scale. How it played out had me glued to each chapter, gobbling up each scene whether it was tentative steps to love or battling an old enemy. Gracie and Kordon’s sparks smoldered while their adventure played out. And all of it was amazing…
Be prepared for heartbreak, hard-fought love, family and camaraderie amongst the stars, a story which has vaulted this author to my “must read everything she’s ever written” list. Now!

While the author was clearly channeling Independence Day, she quickly steered past it, and only used it as a jumping-off point. I am so glad I kept reading because I would have been deprived of an outstanding adventure.
Gracie Jones shows great spirit and determination, while still retaining a few insecurities to make her real. And Kordon is a drool-worthy mix of hard on the outside, yet gooey on the inside. At least for one minuscule human.
This was a well-paced story, whose characters kept me reading well into the night. Other than the beginning, I found the story original and interesting. I look forward to reading more in this series.
I highly recommend this book and series. I know I will be purchasing the next one as soon as possible.
I received this book from NetGalley which I voluntarily reviewed. The opinions stated are honest, and unbiased and my own.
