Very interesting!

This is the about about grit - perseverance and passion to go for your goal, through the failures. Not just like a soldier or sportsman, but like a "normal" person achieving their goals and dreams. What grit is, how to grow it, how to live with it.
This is a long book, full of interesting passages and details (too much sometimes), so for sure many of them has left my memory. But there are some food for thought I remember: on can grow their grit. One can push their limits. The hopelessness grows when you perceive your situation as dark one without any possibility to have control over it. One is happier and healthier when living with grit.
Sounding like some feel-good phrases? Yes. To me too, now when reading them. But they are true. Angela Duckworth has some data and stories to support them - and more, she has passion for them. And this is what this book does for me - it gives me information, yes. But it also gives me instruments about how to improve my take on grit, my mindset and my skills - while not giving me any concrete steps! It give me passion and hope to build my goals. I can see them as possible, even in the areas I have considered as "not for me".
We will see about that - but for now, I am enriched by this bookand by the dreams the authoress has ignited in me.
