Caught in a compromising position the Duke of Ravenwood and Katherine Ross must marry.

One a desire to have a wife, a family, and a home...the other the opposite.

In a place that is painfully stuck in the past one woman will attempt to break through the fortress to unlock her happy ever after.

I loved the slow burn as two strangers realize that they discover how much they've misunderstood each other.

A heartwarming and tender story of a man who will risk everything to find his future. Sometime we need to step outside our comfort and face our fears head on.

A delightful cast of characters with a satisfying and delightful arc.

I am slightly inclined towards historical romance considering it’s one of my favorite genres after NA novels so my rating can be biased a little. Still liked the book as it kept me interested till the end.

Sadly I didn't get around to reading the book before it was archived and it was long before I managed to get myself a Kindle so I couldn't read it.

Ravenswood is unlikeable, but reliable. Kate is the opposite. They both find the grace to change enough to make the rough edges smooth, and possibly make a family out of the scandal that started their relationship.

An enjoyable book, with a history of six books to be read if you are starting the series here!

Such a fun read to conclude the series. Typical male hiding his true self.

OMG! I don't know how I could have missed writing a review for " The Duke's Accidental Wife," the final book in Erica Ridley's "Dukes of War" series. With lots of laugh out loud funny moments with a sprinkling of heartaches and then finally finding trust, Ridley save the best for last.

The story of Katherine Ross and Lawrence, the Duke of Ravenwood who were simply not so getting married to use today's vernacular. They were set in their ways. But, social faux pas happened and because this is the Regency era, they found themselves at the altar.

This is just the beginning of the story though, not the happily ever after. Katherine and Lawrence found themselves at odds. But, there is a spark there, though both did not see it at first. As Katherine and Lawrence discover things about each other, they also discover something about themselves. And that is how they earned their happily ever after.

A great afternoon read during the weekend or while you are on holiday. " The Duke's Accidental Wife" is Rated T for Teens.

If you are in need of a silly regency romance with scattered-brained women and tall, dark and broody Dukes, Earls or otherwise entitled menfolk, wearing frocks and waistcoats, look no further than the Dukes of War series.

This one is fairly short, only 200 pages, and the plot is full of the usual romance tropes, with a little tension thrown in at the end. Nothing surprising or unusual, with the required HEA at the end.
