Kat and Stone back at the sexy reads they know just how to write so well, and they prove it yet again in Heartbreaker. They're known for their signature naughty and hot as F (fire) books and you'll find it in this title, but you'll also find out why it's called Heartbreaker as well. And wow did the authors pull at all the strings.

Good day! Before anything else, I would like to extend my deepest, sincerest gratitude for sending me a digital review copy of this book (via NetGalley). Thank you very much for the opportunity!

Unfortunately, I am sad to say that I have lost interest in this particular title, and consequently, I have decided against finishing it. Forcing myself to finish a book I am disinterested in (solely for the sake of finishing it) can only negatively impact the entirety of my reading experience, which, in turn, could result in me writing an unfairly negative review. That is a circumstance I hope to avoid. With that said, I believe that the best course of action is for me to simply not read it and to refrain from publicly posting any feedback regarding this book.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Again, thank you for the lovely opportunity!

HEARTBREAKER is the first book in the Unbreakable series. They are each meant to stand on their own.

The Michaelson family, from the No Weddings series, is back! No this is not book #5 and you do not need to have read that series to pick up here. This will stand without, though I recommend the previous series, too.

What I loved the most about this story was that nobody was in his or her usual assigned pigeonholes. Kiki wanted a one-night stand. She had absolutely no desire for hearts, no flowers, and no promises that will only be broken. She didn’t need a knight in shining armor because she could weld her own if needed. Darren said, ‘no.’ He wasn’t going to be her one-night stand. Because his life was complicated, and part of that complication included working with her family, he wouldn’t add former-lover to the biography of their friendship.

Because he said no, the relationship built slowly, the burning growing hotter with each page and chapter, until they (and I) were ready to combust. Still, it wasn’t just about the smexy, smexy, it was also about deep and profound friendship, family, and trust.

I loved, loved, FLOVED this book. I only wish I had the second book in the series to start on next!

Note: While I received this book as a gifted copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

I have loved all of the books about the Michealson siblings, and this one was no exception. Kiki's book starts a new, spinoff series, and it was quite a great beginning! I've been hoping for Kiki's story, and it was well worth the wait.

Kiki and Darren Cole were meat to be a one-night stand, but soon they are on the precipice of a relationship. This is something neither of them wants, but their attraction and developing feelings are difficult to fight.

Great chemistry between the two wonderful lead characters, an interesting storyline, and the backdrop of the Michelson family made this one a winner for me!
