I found this book an enjoyable read, this is my first book by this author and won't be the last.

Kyle and Kelly have history, maybe not the sort your thinking of, but they are acquainted.

Their relationship gets steamy pretty quick, kyle is desperate to 'be with' Kelly and she's not saying no to rumble with a hot man that makes her sizzle. Jumping in the sack quickly complicates their relationship, especially as she's more to Kyle than a quick fling.

As if a relationship in fifth gear isn't enough, she's in trouble and needs protection, but is she as innocent as she seems?

I enjoyed getting to know the other urban dwellers briefly, they all seem very different and will make for interesting stories.

Back to Kelly and Kyle, I liked Kelly, she had a vulnerability but was headstrong enough to take a stand when needed and to tell Kyle to back off at times - I felt it showed reality and made me respect her more. But I was annoyed with her when kyle confides in her - tough to hear, But that took him a lot to open up and she didn't react well in my eyes.

Kyle really grows as a characther through the book and becomes a really strong man and luckily for him he has a good woman by his side.

What can you expect from this book, well its PNR so they're shifters with abilities, there's sex and an interesting storyline with a twist I wasn't expecting.

Looking forward to reading more in this series.

I really liked the plot, the idea behind this series.. It has potential though, and that's hard to find!
Even their love story was a bit different from your typical shifter book. So I appreciate that!
