This was an intriguing storyline but not my usual kind of writing style so I didn't enjoy it as much as other mystery crime books that I have read. That said though, I did finish it, and I was interested in finding out what was going on.

I didn't mind either of the main characters, but I didn't really connect with them either. There was depth to both of them, and their backgrounds were explained fairly well. Some good secondary characters too. Overall not a bad read.

I loved the storyline between Bode and Kelsey. Kelsey is a survivor and to watch her overcome her past and become stronger was a thrill to watch. Bode was the perfect companion to help get her back on her feet. Great character development.
