Some of the essays were better then others, but there was not enough information about most of the women detected in these stories.

An in-depth and amazingly incisive look at the early film industry through the eyes of intersectional feminism. I loved reading every facet of the film industry which debunks a lot about how limited female directors were in the silent era. They were anything but silent in spite of their limitations. An excellent resource for film fans.
