I really enjoy the Krewe of Hunters book series. I actually read these out of order, reading Deadly Fate prior to this book. The many references in Deadly Fate to the murders on board the ship made me want to read this book and I'm glad I did. Heather Graham weaves a ghost story so well that the paranormal seems normal. The rich sweetness of the love story between Alexi and Jude added to the mysteries on board.

I loved reading these books! They were of course, fantastic, and also, near the end of what's been currently been published. And since I've been behind for years, well, yeah, catching up is cause for celebration for me!
All Hallows Eve was fantastic, in that we got to see Jenna and Sam back in Salem, where they began! Things were a bit of a mess, given the case, but yeah, it was so great to see these two again! A really fantastic story!
Haunted Destiny, for me, is the start of a mini trilogy with the name of the boat that's important to the story, is in the title. And there's some pretty great characters! Looking ahead, I know that a few from this book, are in the next one! So yeah, that's pretty cool!
The bad guy has a thing against working women, who has a classical idea that women belong in the home. Which of course is outrageous and awful! And that he was killing women over this, because they rejected him and offered work as a reason...yeah. He was pretty darned awful! I'm glad that they took him down!
These books were really fantastic, and I can't wait to read more!

The mystery really kept me guessing and the romance was sweet. But with all the mishaps and violence aboard ship, I'm having second thoughts about ever taking a cruise. :D I enjoyed the use of ghosts in the story and how Alexi handled her ability. There were a few coincidences and unlikelihoods but overall the story worked and it had twists and tuns that kept me reading.
Jude and Alexi were good together though the romance moved unbelievably fast. After a week, they're talking about moving in together and where they'll live. *rolls eyes* The focus of the book was on the mystery though, and not the romance.
Also good together were Jude and Jackson. I can't remember (literally can't remember; he might have been in a recent book and I just don't recall) when Jackson appeared last so I enjoyed seeing them work together and getting to know him better.
In all, a pleasant story and good addition to the series.
