The Cowboy's Baby Bond is the second in the Montana Cowboys series, but I don't think you need to read these books in order. I didn't have any problem following the story and I haven't read the first book yet.

I liked the characters. The heroine dealt with a lot and I felt bad for her. I loved the bond between the cowboy and the baby -- it was so sweet how he right away felt a connection to the child.

All in all, I enjoyed the read and recommend this book if you love historical novels. It was a pretty simple read, but it was good.
