In theory, this book is interesting, and I have read and enjoyed other time travel books. However The Lost Time Accidents was a slog I gave up on, simply because the writing style, though fitting for the character, was unenjoyable and the characters caricatures to the extent that I just didn’t care about them.

As a time travel book, this plot works. It's well studied and well done with a believable pacing that gave you enough time to digest the science. However, the book sinks in terms of characters-there're no women. They were either only there to cause a plot change or were old crones. So, the main character is just this horrible man I felt like I was supposed to root for but failed to do anything for me.
