Harper is one of the lucky ones - pretty, slim and popular she has no problem fitting in during her first days in High School, the complete opposite to Sarah who with her goth looks is unfairly classed as a 'loser' and bullied by Harper's peers. But Harper can't help but be fascinated by Sarah and as two get together, Harper begins to feel all those feelings she's been told she should have about boys.
This is a rather sweet, coming of age type novel that follows two young girls exploring their feelings and sexuality. I appreciated the representation in this, and how much it could mean to young gay girls reading it and realising that it's okay. I do think that there were some clichés in this from Harper's popular status and Sarah's goth looks meaning she's automatically seen as a weirdo.

So I honestly don't remember what drew me in besides the cover and sometimes that works for me, unfortunately this time it didn't. I can't give you a full review of reasons either it was simply that the story did not excite me enough to get past one chapter.
