A startlingly unique take on shape-shifters with the lush background of India. It is an exploration into identity, gender with some reflection on love. I loved that it plunges us into Indian mythology which is vast, and complex and a bit familiar too! This was my first foray into a book by this author and I’m curious to see what else their mind can come up with next!

This was a pleasure to read. Diving in it the world unlike my one. One that has always existed in fairy tales of fat way places. Everything was alive.

Ambitious and lyrical storytelling. A dream to read with unexpected depth and insight.

I want to hand this book to so many people I know. The story is beautiful and touching.
