Nujeen Mustafa tells her incredible story of journeying from Syria to Germany. It is a dangerous trek for anyone, but especially for someone in a wheelchair as Nujeen is.

Her gripping recount is powerful and eye-opening. I think in many ways society as a whole tends to write off the plight of refugees with a sort of “out of sight out of mind” thinking. We can not allow this mindset to take hold. It is our duty to love our neighbor and do so with the love of Christ.

I really love this book and I know that Nujeen Mustafa is a world-changer. I look forward with great anticipation to see what she does in the future!

This a compelling, beautiful and tragic read. Nujeen and her family have been and are still going through so much and this young lady has expressed herself so well.
At times funny and always strong Nujeen tells how her and her sister Nasrine travelled from Syria to Germany (3593 miles) to find safety and freedom and how they are still in 2017 trying to get that freedom.
