I read this book and initially found it to be a little juvenile even for YA. The characters were predictable. What stood out for me was the setting. The setting was transporting and I wanted to go experience the cold bite of the mountain in winter.

I won't be able to leave a review for this book; I requested it in a past lifetime of my NetGalley use (over ten years ago) and it no longer fits with my reading interests. If I ever do end up reading it I'll come back and update this!

I thoroughly enjoyed A Beautiful Dark. What really captivated was the writing and the way Ms Davies wove in the love triangle. There are many emotional moments, but it was easy to route for the characters and follow along in their journey.
