I liked that this book was different from your typical romance in that the couple was already technically married. Bria and Leo are an estranged couple who are both divorce lawyers. While they both love one another, they're not always there for each other. I enjoyed that we got to see Bria do her job in this book and see her negotiating skills in use.

As you're reading, you're also able to see how their less than stellar childhoods have molded them and effect how they function. The focus on their partnership and how a marriage won't work if you can't handle the bad with the good was refreshing. I really liked watching these characters grow.

Feels! Emotions! Angst! This second chance romance is packed with all of them. Sleeping with the Opposition takes you on the kind of ride that only J.K. Coin can give in the kind of story she tells best! This book will have you wanting more from this author. Happy reading!!

What a great story! I was totally sucked right into this book mainly because of this love/hate thing I had going on with Leo. Nails on a chalkboard. The man was impossible. Bria and Leo are both attorney, married and headed for the same end as their clients, divorce. Saying their marriage went through a rough patch would be understating what happens when a couple suffers a devastating loss.
In their case, he wasn't present for her and he couldn't deal with talking about what happened. The two drifted apart and so while they were once working in the same office, she leaves and joins another firm yet meanwhile they still live under the same roof. He refuses to move out and is determined to save their marriage, no matter how ridiculous he gets. He really did push my buttons at times, meanwhile making me laugh as well. The man was clueless. I really felt for Bria and not only what she went through but was still going through, the woman has a lot on her plate, juggling her new job, a case with Leo as opposing counsel and Leo in general. What a piece of work. It's an emotional read, but not sad, it's so well written, totally relatable characters and story.
A perfect 5 from me.

Leo and Bria are married, but since she had a miscarriage things changed and they are now estranged. She left the firm and went to work for a competitor and now for the first time they are on opposing sides.

Leo still loves his wife and can' understand what went wrong. Bria still loves her husband but wants him to share how he is feeling. Will they ever get past what is keeping them apart?

A great read, which is quite emotional at times.

Leo and Bria had a wonderful marriage until he dropped the ball when she needed him the most. Now they work in different law firms and find themselves against the other in court. Leo is determined to win his wife back no matter the cost. Will their opposing positions cause additional conflict between them? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Emotionally charged and heart wrenching, J.K.Coi tells the story of a couple torn apart by tragedy. Although they still love one another, will they ever be able to put back the pieces of their shattered marriage? This is the first book I've read by this author but I will definitely look forward to reading more of her work in the future. Thank you for Indulgence Publishing and NetGalley for providing me a copy to review.
