My first read from this author. I really enjoyed the story of Eleanor and Peter and can recommend this book

Catch me if you can is a standalone from Juliette Cosway about Miss Eleanor Craven who plans a trip but her aunt doesn't want her to be unchaperoned and has a Peter Rivers attend to her. Through this trip they get to know each other better and spark light. I enjoyed the Eleanor's character since she is nowhere close to a simpering miss but a headstrong and opinionated woman who feels independent without the need for a chaperone. She is sassy and brings the fun and intrigue to the book. It was a quick and easy to get through and overall an enjoyable read.

I always enjoy a historical romance when the H/H aren't typical of the time period. Eleanor is definitely that! She was raised by her father who let her be what she wanted to be which made her very independent.

When Eleanor's father dies, she decides to visit her aunt in America. Her aunt sends Peter (whom Eleanor met previously and was attracted to) to escort to her home. But Eleanor has other plans and heads out on her own. Which of course causes all types of problems, including Peter having to track Eleanor down.

I really enjoyed this story! I enjoyed watching Eleanor butting heads with Peter and them of course falling in love. This was a great book by a first time author. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!
