I loved this book and continue to read Kelly's novels. They are all so different and her ideas are fresh.

This is a sweet, cute book. I liked the premise and although it's a little bit predictable and Hallmark-esque, it's still a very enjoyable read. If you like romance, this is a great choice and an author to look for.

I am sorry for not reviewing fully but I don’t have the time to read this anymore. I believe that it wouldn't benefit you as a publisher or your book if I only skimmed it and wrote a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for not fully reviewing!

I've seen mixed reviews of this novel, however, I just devoured this one within a few hours. There was a lot going on within the story: Lily realizing she never finished her annulment, getting evicted, her weird/creepy boyfriend and promoter, her icy cold best friend, and so on. I loved Lily's developing friendships with Colleen and Jenny once she got to Minnow Bay and I especially loved her budding mentor/friendship with Simone. Actually, I loved everything about Minnow Bay and found myself rooting for Lily and Ben, crossing my fingers that they would fall for one another.

However, I absolutely hated Lily's so-called best friend Renee, having found her to be selfish and just completely mean. Her and Mitchell were definitely the low points of this novel, but luckily, my love for everyone else overshadowed my hatred for them and kept me reading when I wanted to give up - simply because of Renee.

Overall, I found this a unique and entertaining novel that I'm glad I had the opportunity to read. This one will definitely make you want to run away to a cozy small town and start over!

Going into this book, I wondered if I would love it as much as I did The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane. I am so happy to say that I did. I wanted to rent a room at The Minnow Bay Inn, in the delightful town of Minnow Bay that reminded me so much of Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, right down to the quirky, lovable characters.
I couldn't help rooting for Lily, who hadn't quite mastered adulthood, to gain her footing and confidence in herself.
Harms does a fantastic job of showing how friendships change over time, how people change over time and also how much new friendships can blow a much needed breath of fresh air into someone's existence as Colleen's, Jenny's and even angsty little Simone's friendships do for Lily. Watching Lily and Ben find their way to each other courtesy of Colleen and Jenny's matchmaking efforts and the whole town joining in to give some happiness back to Ben made for a cozy read that I just wanted to sink into. I will be eagerly awaiting Kelly Harms next book!
